Tri-State Staffing is operated by a small team located in the Northwest Kansas area. The team is brought together with a passion for helping the under served rural communities in our service area.
Biography
Marla comes to TSS with experience in all areas of office work. She worked as an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager and then went into the Accounting Department. Marla is the controller at TSS and affiliated companies. She is responsible for payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, capital outlay, budgeting, and all areas of finance. Marla is responsible for all contracts, negotiating contracts and maintaining contracts. Additionally, Marla takes care of all real Estate including,Real Estate leases and other Real Estate transactions. As one of the Directors, Marla additionally shares other responsibilities and supervises various staff. In Marla's spare time when she's not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and many grandchildren.

Biography
Brad Parker was born and raised in Goodland, graduating from Lindsborg’s Bethany College with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Administration of Justice in 1998. From 1998 to 2017, he served as a Law Enforcement Officer with Goodland Police Department, the Sherman County Sheriff’s Office, and Wallace County Sheriff’s Office. During that time, he was certified as an Accident Reconstructionist, and taught courses on reconstruction, report writing, off duty officer survival, constitutional rights, and served as a Field Training Officer and Patrol Supervisor. He joined the TSS Team in June 2018, and is, with Lela Elliot-Lamb, a Staffing Coordinator at the TSS Call Center, scheduling all TSS employees. He also serves as the Safety Program Manager, in which duties may include reviewing surveillance video, controlling who has access to a given company property, and so forth. He is an internationally recognized expert in the Kennedy assassination, having published numerous published articles and a book on the matter. Additionally, he is a guitarist, and avid reader of historical non-fiction.

Biography
Lela comes to TSS with a background in costumer service. She worked retail for multiple years, before taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom. Upon reentering the workforce in 2022, Lela became one of our call-center representatives, whose focus is aimed at the staffing needs of our client facilities, and team members. In her time away from the phones, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, children, and all of their animals.
