TSS is seeking a dynamic professional to lead our medical staffing department.

Position Requirements: 

  • Supervising and reviewing nursing staff
  • Overseeing the department budgets
  • Reporting to high-level staff members
  • Maintaining high standards of care
  • Managing patients' data and medical records
  • Interacting with doctors, patients and family members
  • Maintain strong relationships with facilities we staff
  • Match our services with the exact needs of our clients
  • Personally staff shifts by working as a floor nurse
  • Develops policies and procedures
  • Investigates recommendations for staff accommodations and suggestions for improvement
  • Oversees employee health and education departments

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: 

  • Kansas or Colorado RN with an unrestricted License with no discipline or actions on license
  • Demonstrates outstanding customer service and a positive attitude every shift. 
  • To achieve this level the nurse must have:
  • 12 months of recent acute care hospital or transport experience as an RN (in the last 18 months)
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • Kansas and Colorado nursing licenses
  • A willingness and ability to float to any facility (does not include specialty units)
  • Willing to work as charge nurse. 
  • Valid Drivers license with an acceptable driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Professional image at all times

Preferred education, experience, and certifications

  • BSN
  • MSN
  • Previous leadership experience
  • CEN
  • CCRN

Must be willing to obtain within 6 months of hire

  • BLS instructor
  • Other nursing license (either Kansas of Colorado)
  • ACLS instructor
  • NRP
